Quantitation of genomic DNA before PCR.

Before PCR amplification it is recommended to check the concentration of your DNA samples. Uniform quality and concentration of your DNA samples increases the success rate of PCR amplification and subsequent sequencing reactions. SeqLab customers are welcome to quantitate their DNA samples with NanoDrop ND-1000 UV/Vis Spectrophotometer.

Nanodrop ND-1000 requires 1.0 - 1.5 µl of sample and measures concentration within 10 seconds. Dynamic range of measurement is approximately from 4 to 4000 ng/µl. Remember to use proper blank sample to calibrate the NanoDrop instrument.

Quantitation of plasmid DNA.

Plasmid purification kits and protocols may yield very different concentrations of DNA. SeqLab welcomes you to measure your plasmids with NanoDrop ND-1000 UV/Vis Spectrophotometer.

Nanodrop ND-1000 requires only 1.5 µl of sample and measures concentration within 10 seconds. Dynamic range of measurement is approximately from 4 to 4000 ng/µl. Remember to use proper blank sample to calibrate the NanoDrop instrument.
