Mission

SeqLab provides DNA sequencing services for researchers in National Public Health Institute, Molecular Medicine research program and Folkhälsan Research Centre in Biomedicum Helsinki. In addition to DNA sequencing small to medium scale fragment analysis service is also available.

SeqLab is a jointly funded core facility established in May 2003 by  National Public Health Institute, Folkhälsan Research Centre, University of Helsinki and the Research program for Molecular Medicine. Since May 2003 we have produced more than 640 000 sequences resulting in 257 Mb of sequence (See statistics).
